FAMILY LETTERS

Now that we have completed our reading and analysis of Esperanza Rising, students are working to write a Readers Theater script based on the novel. Student pairs are each assigned one chapter and tasked with using both the language of the text and their own words to create a script for one chapter. Before the Winter Break, we will be reading the script aloud as a class. 
In the new year, we will be exploring possibilities to create a theater piece based on our student-written scripts!
