THIRD GRADE

Connecticut

      One day, my family says we are going on a trip to Connecticut for the summer. I am psyched! Usually we go to my grandparents' house, stay one night, and then wake up very early, at like 4:00 in the morning. Then we go to the San Francisco Airport. There, we get food and drinks. Then we go downstairs and shop. After we shop, we go down and sit on the seats. When they call Jet Blue that's our signal to get on the plane. When we get on we put our bags down and sit. Then my mom tells me to go to sleep, so I do, when I wake up, I watch a show and then a movie.

      When we finally get there, I get a ride from my Grandpa. He lives in Connecticut, but he comes to pick us up from New York. It takes an hour to drive from New York to Connecticut. Wehn we get to my cousins' house, we say hello. Then we go on the trampoline and swim in a pool.Then after the pool we go to the river on a kayak or paddle board.

     One time on a trip like this my cousins played a trick on me, they told me there was a mini shark in the river that bites your feet! Then they told me that a shark was rocking our boat, but really it was them! Then we all started to laugh because I got tricked by them. Nobody got shark bites. :)

       Then there was the time when my brother, Asher, pranked us by putting plastic wrap on the toilet! Another time my brother put chocolate in the toilet! My parents went around asking if we pooped and forgot to flush, but it was all Asher and his tricks! You never know what is going to be like in Connecticut, but it is always fun no matter what happens!!!!!
